Do You Know How Quickly You‘ve Been Aging?
It turns out that everyone ages at a different rate. Studies have found associations between healthy living factors—like diet, exercise habits, alcohol consumption, and stressors like sleepless nights—and biological age. So how can you get real insight into how your body is actually aging?
Discover your Biological Age
Get ready to take control of your future. Using a saliva sample from you, we extract your DNA and read sites across your genome where methylation, a type of epigenetic change, has occurred. We analyze over 100,000 sites of DNA methylation to calculate your biological age.
“Index shows incredible promise when it comes to monitoring how the body is capable of functioning and there is potential for even more diverse applications in the future.“
Morgan Levine, Ph.D., of Yale University
The Science Behind Index
Morgan Levine, Ph.D., of Yale University, spearheaded the development of our proprietary Index platform. In 2018, Levine developed a novel epigenetic biomarker analysis to assess “phenotypic age,” or what we now call biological age.
Index is powered by the Elysium chip, developed with the help of Illumina, a global leader in DNA sequencing and array-based technologies. Index uses Elysium’s next-generation technology Algorithmic Platform for Epigenetic Examination (APEX) to assess and analyze your epigenetics from a saliva sample.See the Science

Epigenetics, DNA Methylation, And The Science Of Biological Clocks
Our DNA makes us who we are, but it’s epigenetics that brings our story to life. Here’s the science of epigenetics, including how it works and how it relates to biological clocks.
